all 320 employees at the City Government of

Krusevac pass the training and certification

process according to the European ECDL

standards for digital literacy.

Mr Vladan Stevanovi, representative of

JISA and the project coordinator, congratulated

the employees at the City Government for their

achieved results and stressed that efficiency of

the administration at the city administration

was directly connected with the digital literacy

of the employees and their ability to use the

ICT. An EU study concluded that one salary a

year per one employee is lost due to inefficient

skills for using basic Office applications.

Predstavnik JISA i koordinator ovog

projekta Vladan Stevanovi, cestitao je za-

poslenima u Gradskoj upravi na postig-

nutim rezultatima na ispitima i istakao da

efikasnost administracije u gradskoj upravi

direktno zavisi od informaticke pismenosti

zaposlenih i njihove sposobnosti da koriste

IKT. Istrazivanjem u EU utvreno je da se

godisnje izgubi jedna plata po zaposlenom

usled nedovoljne obucenosti da koristi os-

novne Office aplikacije.

Unapred smo postavili sledee ciljeve:

PROJECT SUMMARY

We had set the following goals:

�Raising the efficiency of the

administration according to the EU

recommendations, providing citizens with

faster government services;

�Better

utilization

of

City

Administration's IT resources;

�Perform the ECDL training without

having to leave work place and interrupt daily

tasks.

During test process at CPD Krusevac, a

total of 100 ECDL online exams were taken.
