U svom programu za period 2012­2014, PMI Srbija svoje aktivnosti
usmerava na tri oblasti ­ unapreenje saradnje s globalnim kompanijama i
meunarodnim institucijama u zemlji s ciljem da se sto jace istakne znacaj
upravljanja projektima u javnom sektoru; inteziviranje saradnje s obra-
zovnim institucijama, privredom i strukovnim udruzenjima i uspostavljanje
cvrse saradnje sa drzavnim institucijama u cilju promovisanja PMI vred-
nosti.
PMI Srbija
Project Management Institute (PMI) is a global, not-for-profit,
professional association founded countries. Its eleven standards and six
globally recognized certificates (PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, PMI-
ACP) provide common project frame and language in various industries
and regions, and they are based on knowledge and work experience.
PMI Serbia Chapter is a non-for-profit organization of professionals
founded in 2003 which was recognized by PMI in 2003. Today, it gathers
over 230 active members not only from Serbia, but from the region, EU
and rest of the world as well. More than 140 of them own some of the
mentioned PMI certificates. The organization bodies are Assembly and
Board with volunteers.
Benefits for members of PMI Serbia Chapter include expert
presentations related to project management, leadership and business
development, support for acquiring PMI certificate through free experience
transfer, and preparation for certification exams, possibilities for
professional development and securing PDU points for PMI members. In
addition, members also have the opportunity to exchange experience
with other members from the Chapter and from all segments of business
environment, and also to benefit from special discounts for participation
in international and regional meetings related to project management,
and what also should be mentioned is the possible cooperation with other
Chapters and creation of more favourable business environment for PM
professionals.
In its 2012-2014 programme, PMI Serbia has been focusing its
activities on three areas ­ promotion of cooperation with global companies
and international institutions in the country with the aim of emphasizing
the importance of project management in the public sector; intensifying
the cooperation with educational institutions, industrial representatives
and professional associations and establishing better cooperation with
state institutions with the aim of promoting PMI values.
