r Renato Balestra, one of the
greatest
Italian
designers,
organized a humanitarian
fashion show for the Children's
Shelter, an institution which
provides care to the most
vulnerable categories of young
people from all parts of Serbia,
aged seven to eighteen years,
among who are victims of
violence, abuse and neglect,
victims of trafficking, children
without parental care, children
of the street.
Before the start of the fashion
show, the attendees were
addressed by the owner of the
fashion agency "Fabrika" which
organized this campaign with
the aim of raising funds for the
Belgrade Shelter. "This is the
second show organized for the
same cause. The first one was
held in December 2012 and it
was very successful. This time I
am also satisfied only tonight,
we have raised donations for
the Shelter worth over 25,000
euros, in money and goods,
and worth help in money and
goods, and in these times, that
is a fascinating amount," said
Ms Vesna Mandi, adding that
once again it was proven that the
more glamorous the events are,
the larger donations are. "We
won't stop here. We will continue
helping the youngest and most
vulnerable citizens of Belgrade
in this and similar ways."
The fashion snog was held in the
Old Palace which was filled to
the last seat. Mr Renato Balestra
presented his collection which
marked the end of the Fashion
Week in Rome on January
27. Presented were dressing
combinations with the focus
on the blue tone known as the
"Balestra blue".
