Obrenovi and King Milan Obrenovi.
After the First World War, he resigned from
politics and became one of the most successful
industrials in Yugoslavia at the time. He left
all his property to the state.
After the death of ore Genci in 1938,
various institutions have been located in this
building: Italian Culture Institute, Slovenian
Committee, Academic Concil of the FPRY,
and since 1952, the Nikola Tesla Museum.
u vladama kralja Aleksandra Obrenovia i
kralja Petra I Karaorevia. Posle I svetskog
rata povlaci se iz politike i postaje jedan od
najuspesnijih industrijalaca u Jugoslaviji
tog doba. Svoju veliku imovinu zavestao je
drzavi.
Posle smrti ora Gencia 1938. go-
dine, u ovoj zgradi bile su smestene razlicite
institucije: Institut italijanske kulture,
Sveslovenski komitet, Akademijski savet
FNRJ i od 1952. godine Muzej Nikole Tesle.
Nikola Tesla je najvise doprineo
nauci i tehnoloskom progresu sveta
kao pronalazac obrtnog magnetnog
polja, indukcionog motora, polifazne
naizmenicne struje, generatora i
kompletnog sistema proizvodnje i
distribucije elektricne energije. Po
njemu je jedinica meunarodnog
SI sistema dobila naziv -- mera za
magnetnu indukciju "tesla". Tesla je
konstruisao generator struja visoke
frekvencije i napona, danas poznat kao
"Teslin transformator", transformator
bez jezgra, Teslina zavojnica, ili Teslin
kalem.
Nikola Tesla's greatest contribution to
science and technological progress of the world was as the inventor of the
rotating magnetic field, induction motor, polyphase alternating current,
generators and complete system of production and distribution of electricity.
One of the units of the International System of Units carries his name - the
measure of magnetic induction "tesla". Tesla constructed a generator of high
frequency currents and voltages, known today as the Tesla's transformer,
coreless transformer, or Tesla's coil.
