Olaf Olafsdotir, direktorkom Direktorata za
demokratsko graanstvo i participaciju.
Poseta ministarke omladine i sporta
krunisana je prijemom kod Gabrijele Bataini
Dragoni, zamenice Generalnog sekretara
Saveta Evrope. Ona je istakla prepoznatlji-
vost akcija koje Srbija sprovodi na polju om-
ladine i zahvalila ministarki Mari na podsti-
canju aktivizma, mobilnosti i informisanosti
mladih.

The Group Members
stressed the leadership role
of Serbia in the youth Sector
of the Council of Europe and
nominated Ms Mari for the
position of the Ambassador
of the campaign for the fight
against hate speech on the
Internet.
Within her visit to the
Youth Centre of the Council
of Europe, Ms Mari had a
meeting with Ms Tina Mulcahy,
Director of the Youth Sector,
Mr André-Jacques Dodin,
Head of Division, and Mr Jean-
Claude Lazaro, Head of the
European Youth Foundation.
The hosts presented basic
courses of action related to the
youth policy of the Council
of Europe and gave accolades
to Serbia, as an example of a
good practice and one of the
leaders in the realization of
aims in the youth field. The
Minister Mari also met Ms
Ólöf Ólafsdóttir, Director of
Democratic Citizenship and
Participation of the Council of
Europe.
The visit was finished
with the reception at Mrs
Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni,
Deputy Secretary General of the Council
of Europe. She underlined the recognition
of actions taken by Serbia in the youth field
and thanked Ms Mari for encouraging
activism, mobility and awareness amongst
young people.
Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni
praised the contribution Serbia has given to
the realization of various youth programmes
of the Council of Europe and expressed
great satisfaction with the fact that Serbia
is the first country which implemented the
co-management system in the process of
adopting all major strategic documents,
as well as adopting decisions related to the
youth.
