Nedavno zavrseni ECDL World Forum u Londonu pokazao
je sve benefite standardizacije informatickog obrazovanja
i neophodnost daljih i jos veih ulaganja u informaticki
profesionalizam

uropean Computer Driving Licence -
ECDL, omoguio je bolji zivot za bli-
zu 13 miliona graana Evrope i sveta
a nedavno je pod okriljem Evropske Unije
formirana "Grand Koalicija" koja treba obje-
diniti jos vise napora svih relevantnih faktora
na zajednickom cilju podizanja informaticke
spremnosti za sto veci broj graana kako bi
mogli koristiti savremene kompjuterske i ko-
munikacione tehnologije u svom radu i sva-
kodnevnom zivotu. Potpredsednik Evrop-
ske Komisije i generalni komesar Digitalne
Agende Evrope, gdja Neelie Kroes, u svom
pozdravnom obraanju, zahvalila se delega-
tima Foruma i ECDL Fondacije na svemu do
sada ucinjenom kao i novim aktivnostima
u pravcu daljeg prosirenja informatickog
obrazovanja.

­ ECDL has brought a better life for
almost 13 million Europeans and other
citizens of the world, and recently, the Grand
Coalition was formed under the auspices of
European Union, which should consolidate
the efforts of all relevant factors with the
common aim of raising the IT competence of
as many citizens as possible, enabling them
to use new computer and telecommunication
technologies in their work and everyday life.
In her welcoming speech, Mrs Nellie Kroes, a
Vice-President of the European Commission
and European Commissioner for Digital
Agenda thanked the Forum and ECDL
Foundation delegates for all they have done, as
well as for the new activities directed towards
further expansion of IT knowledge.
Ovogodisnji ECDL Forum po prvi put
imao je priliku da istakne i neka ostvarenja
sa prostora Balkana, gde se projekat "ECDL
ZA DIGITALNU CRNU GORU", koji je fi-
nansirala Evropska Unija na predlog Vlade
For the first time, this year's ECDL
Forum had the opportunity to highlight
some achievements from the Balkans region,
underlining the project "ECDL FOR DIGITAL
MONTENEGRO" which was funded by the
